“Labyrinth” series

About this series

The Labyrinth series began in 2002 with several acrylic on canvas designs inspired by coffeehouse paintings. In 2005, it continued with an acrylic painting on a canvas covered with Persian newspaper, as well as a collection of photos and video performances. The symbol of the Labyrinth is still visible in his works today, representing the feeling of being lost and suspended away from home in exile, always searching for a way to return to the homeland (home).
